Next Gen Men

Next Gen Men is a Calgary-founded national organization working to change how the world sees, acts, and thinks about masculinity. It runs school programs for boys, workplace training on gender equity, and community dialogues that unpack the links between rigid masculinity norms and gender-based violence. Programming explicitly addresses the intersection of race and masculinity, including how Black and racialized men experience pressure to perform particular versions of manhood. The organization treats prevention as upstream work, engaging men and boys before harm occurs rather than only after.
